From the intersection of Highway 136 and Highway 275 in Rock Port, travel north on Highway 275 approximately 13 miles to a short gravel road on your right (east). This road leads in a few hundred yards to a parking lot at the south end of the south unit of Star School Hill Prairie Natural Area. The parking lot for the north unit of the natural area is one mile north of the south lot or 14 miles north of Rock Port on Highway 275. It too is on the east side of Highway 275. There are no developed trails. A map and compass is recommended to explore the area.
