Nestled among the famous Loess Hills of the northwest portion of Missouri is Rock Port. The spire of the Historic County Courthouse towers above the town. Rock Port is filled with nostalgia as well as having a modern lifestyle. Our central location attracts visitors from neighboring towns in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska as well as tourists traveling I-29 and Highway 136. Our location, halfway between Omaha, Nebraska and Kansas City, Missouri provides easy access to urban conveniences while maintaining the simplicity of rural life.  Rock Port also has the distinction of being the "Fireworks Capital of Missouri".  Just minutes from Rock Port is Charity Lake with its beautiful foliage display.

We are proud of our beautiful city park which features a swimming pool, nine hole golf course and club house, two baseball diamonds, volleyball court, horseshoe pitching pits, tennis courts, basketball court and a large picnic area. An all-weather walking track is also available.
