Board of Aldermen
The Board of Aldermen has the care, management and control of the City of Rock Port and its finances. The Board of Aldermen acts at the policy making and legislative body for the City of Rock Port. The Board of Aldermen has the power to enact and ordain any and all ordinances not repugnant to the constitution and laws of the state of Missouri, and such as they shall deem expedient for the good government of the city, the preservation of peace and good order, the benefit of trade and commerce and the health of the inhabitants thereof, and such other ordinances, rules and regulations as may be deemed necessary to carry such powers into effect as provided by Chapter 79.110 RSMo.
Meetings
The Rock Port Board of Aldermen meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm at City Hall, unless otherwise specified.
